JUST IN: Mister Teen Philippines CEO and Head Organizer Rhowena Pelingen has released a personal statement addressing the controversy surrounding the June 28, 2026 Mister Teen Philippines pageant.
Posted on her personal Facebook account at 6:15 a.m. today, July 4, Pelingen apologized to the candidates, acknowledged the organization’s shortcomings, and said the experience would serve as a lesson for future editions of the pageant.
In a separate message accompanying the post, she also expressed gratitude to the panel of judges, saying they remained throughout the overnight deliberations to ensure the final results reflected fairness and integrity.
The June 28 Mister Teen Philippines pageant began in the afternoon and concluded in the morning, at 4am on the next day, June 29 following extended deliberations amid protests and questions raised by members of the audience regarding the tabulation of scores and the final rankings.
